UPA Welcomes New Board Members

The United Palestinian Appeal, Inc., (UPA) board of trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of three additional members: Maha Freij, Dr. Najat Khelil and Joey Musmar.
 
Board chair Dr. Mohammad Tarbush said, "The past seven months have been a period of enormous change for UPA under the leadership of our new executive director, Saleem F. Zaru. As part of our strategic plan to better meet the needs of Palestinians, we are honored to welcome these outstanding new members to the board who bring to UPA a wide range of experience. All of our new colleagues have achieved eminence in their specialized fields, as well as in community and humanitarian work. In particular, their dedication to helping Palestinians in need and their impressive managerial skills will add tremendous value to UPA and to its growth potential."
 
Founded in 1978, UPA works to alleviate the suffering of Palestinians, particularly those in the West Bank, Gaza and the refugee camps of Lebanon, and to contribute to the long-term socioeconomic and cultural development of Palestinian society. The addition of these three new trustees brings the total number trustees to seven.
