UPA Inaugural Middle East Delegation

United Palestinian Appeal is pleased to announce its first delegation to the Middle East.

This is a unique opportunity to visit Palestinian communities in three countries, accompanied by expert guides. The itinerary will offer direct experience of Palestinian life in Lebanon, Jordan and the West Bank, as well as background briefings on Palestinian communities in neighboring areas (Syria, Israel and Gaza).

The Delegation will also learn how UPA supporters are taking meaningful steps to assist Palestinian beneficiaries achieve their potential and assure a better future for their families. There will be time for interaction with a cross-section of Palestinian society, with an emphasis on listening to Palestinian voices through wide-ranging discussions, project visits and consultations. The delegation will be capped at a maximum of 15 participants to enhance this experience.

Itinerary comprises five days in Beirut, with day trips to project sites in Sidon and Tripoli and an excursion to Byblos and Jeita; three days in Jordan, including a day at the Dead Sea; and five days in the West Bank (Nablus, Ramallah, Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Hebron and Jericho).

On the occasion of its 35th anniversary, UPA is proud to offer new ways for its supporters to connect to Palestine and Palestinians. The educational and solidarity opportunity that this delegation offers is yet another expression of our renewed commitment to cultivate hope.
